Another growl arouse in his throat as he began to shake his pelt in an attempt to get her off.
Brightpaw clung tightly to his pelt, regaining her balance by hooking her other claw back into his pelt.
With the shaking, he unintentionally moved even farther backward.

Brightpaw's gaze quickly flickered up towards her mentor who seemed to be flying in the air. And he was coming up fast. Her eyes widened, as she released her grip on the big burly rouge, sending her tumbling to the ground.

Forestpelt lands on the cat. (quick math: lets see... so im moving at a height of 20 meters with a mass of 3 kg... my GPE should be 60. i dunno why i did dat.) the cat loses all his breath and collapses to the ground. "Now explain why your here, or I'll send you to my lea- wait..." Forestpelt scratches the rouge's nose. "Dirty trick! Brightheart, there are more coming, hide and run to camp. Don't get spotted by them. I'll ensure he's taken care of."

Without hesitation, Brightpaw stumbled to her paws and raced towards the camp. She cast a longing glance back at her mentor, a mix of feelings twisted in her eyes. Her paws thudded on the ground as she approached the camp. A pain of remorse of leaving her mentor behind.. Even though he could take care of himself.

"And now..." Forestpelt turned to the rouge. "I can't kill you, but I'll give you a scar and send you running." Forestpelt goes around and claws his tail until it falls off. The cat screached and ran off. -better get to camp- Forestpelt stalks towards camp.

Brightpaw was safely nestled back in camp when he arrived. A shiver shot up her spine before leaping to her paws and bolting over towards him. "Foretspelt! Are you okay?" she meowed, skidding to a halt in front of him. Her bright blue eyes were wide.

"I'm fine." What she didn't know was that 2 rouges pounced and rattled him up before he sent them running. he had deep wounds.

Nevertheless, Brightpaw began to gingerly lick his wounds. "Tell me what happened," she meowed softly, trying her best not to push him for information.

By the time he had finished, Brightpaw was laying on the ground in front of him with her head rested on her paws. He's so brave.. She thought to herself, almost losing herself in a daydream. She snapped back to reality, and blushed at the fact that she had caused several moments of silence to pass by. "Wow!" she exclaimed.

(your not supposed to double post) Forestpelt eyes flutter, then he falls asleep.
The morning sun bounces into the warriors den, waking Forestpelt. "Oh mousedung! I forgot to tell Brightpaw our hunting party!" He stands, cracking 4 bones, and races to the apprentices den.

Brightpaw let out a groan, hearing footsteps on the apprentice floor. "Just a little longer.." she moaned, nuzzling her head deeper into the mossy nest.
