Ariel Winter is opening up about moving out of Los Angeles with her longtime boyfriend Luke Benward.
The 24-year-old Modern Family star appeared on her former Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen's podcast
She did recently just land a new role in Los Angeles - replacing Demi Lovato on the NBC pilot Hungry, though she has a plan for that as well.

'Part of the reason I always hated L.A. is because I have been followed by paparazzi for a very long portion of my life,' the actress said on the podcast.
'And I really, really dislike having my space invaded. I don't like pictures of me when I haven't signed up for pictures of me,' she said.

Winter was born in Fairfax, Virginia and started acting when she was just four years old and started working in Los Angeles at a very young age.
The actress revealed she has never enjoyed her time much in Los Angeles, and decided to just move, though she didn't reveal where she moved to.
'People have always been like, "You don't like L.A., why don't you just move"… and then I just randomly looked and decided why not,' she said.

She added that her boyfriend Luke Benward and her both, 'sold our cars, got an Escalade to fit all the dogs for the drive, put my house on the market and sold my house.'
'Everything normal that I would do, it's not going to stay normal. It's really just about the feeling of not being comfortable to do normal things,' she said.
She added of her new home, 'It feels like a different thing here. I'm going to get to live some of the young adult [life] I haven't been able to live.'

Winter did hint that her new locale has been attracting other celebrities, so she wouldn't be the only, 'industry person' in town.
As for her new gig on the NBC pilot hungry, she added she planned on renting a place in L.A. for the job and just move back and forth.
Winter was just 11 years old when she landed the role of Alex Dunphy on the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family, which ran for 11 seasons and 250 episodes before concluding its run in 2020.
